Pressure Washing Questions

Why do I have to clean and seal my deck?

The day you finish installing a deck or other structure is the day trouble can start. Morning dew, rainwater and melting ice or snow are quickly absorbed by unprotected wood, causing it to soften and swell. Direct exposure to the sun's heat causes drying, which makes wood shrink. Continuous cycles of wet and dry, swelling and shrinking, cause wood to warp, split, crack and check - all of which lead to premature wood degradation and expensive repairs.

Unprotected wood is also subject to surface graying caused by constant exposure to the sun's ultra-violet rays. Persistent moisture exposure creates ripe conditions for the growth of mildew, mold, algae and other fungal organisms that feed on wood, eventually spreading across and staining the surface. Termites and other wood boring insects also use wood for a food source, causing ultimate wood rot and decay.

Questions Regarding Gutter Guards

How does it work?

How do these gutter guard systems keep water flowing freely into gutters and at the same time keep debris out? The simple, scientific principle of liquid adhesion. The Science Behind The System As water flows over the downward slope of these guards it adheres to the product because of the molecular attraction between the surface of guard and the surface of the water. The water is carried down into channels, then through its drain holes into your gutter. At the same time, leaves, needles, seedlings and other debris fall over the downward steps of the guard system and onto the ground below.

What is it made of?

The Waterfall system is made of rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC). To ensure durability, flexibility and resistance to cracking or chipping even under the toughest weather conditions, That's the same tough, weatherable material used in premium vinyl house siding. Waterfalls material is formulated to withstand extreme temperatures, ultraviolet exposure, and weathering, so it will retain its original shape and color through years of use.

It comes in easy-to-handle 8-ft. pieces, and can be cut or mitered to any length or corner angle - while a flexible vinyl joint allows it to slide under any shingled roof surface and adjust to any pitch of roof or gutter. The Waterfall system firmly clips to the edge of your gutter, so it won't blow off in high wind or heavy rain.

What Colors Does it come in?

Waterfall comes in clay and white.
